We ship yearly around 45 million pairs of shoes from Asia to Europe and North America. I joined Novi Footwear the second time back in 2010. My key responsibility is to build new FMCG business relationships for Novi Footwear. Our main objective with the new department is new type of lower priced shoes for volume customers, new factory base and supply chain. I have experience working with customers from US, Europe & China like H&M International, Jack & Jones China, Forever21 (major US Textile chain), New Yorker Group Germany, Kaufland and REAL Group Germany, LPP Group Poland, Kesko and Stockmann Finland, Danish SuperMarket, COOP International, Pimkie France, Tempe Group Spain/China, etc. etc.

I joined Novi Footwear while I was still living in London, where I worked for ECCO Shoes. I was living in Düsseldorf from Monday to Friday and in London during the weekends. My key responsibility was to build and develop the correct range to the right customers together with the complete design and development team. I had extensive travel within Europe visiting our customers and to Asia meeting with customers and factories, material suppliers etc.

My key focus was to improve ECCO’s position in UK via strong growth strategy and brand building. Via new and younger distribution incl. heavy advertisement campaigns we managed to increase the number of ECCO shops, shop-in-shops and the general conception of ECCO in general. Before I moved to ECCO UK in 1996, I worked 2 years as ECCO’s Area Sales Manager responsible for Copenhagen and Sjælland. Here I had the daily responsibility to grow the business with ECCO independent customer base, and grow the number of ECCO stores and ECCO shop-in-shops. Prior to my job in Copenhagen I spend 2 years working at ECCO’s international headquarters following the ECCO International Trainee Education. This program was in cooperation with some of Denmark’s leading companies such as Lego, Danfoss and Mærsk. Apart from taking part in the ECCO trainee education I was Sales Assistant to ECCO’s Export Director South Europe.
