Continuing to be a part of Bihar Clean Air Action Plan - Program Management Unit (Air Quality); (BCAAP-PMU), I am working with Bihar State Pollution Control Board (BSPCB) in consultation with other stakeholder departments for the effective implementation of National Clean Air Programme (NCAP). Added Responsibilities and major deliveries: 1. Development and implementation of long term action plan focusing on vehicular emissions, waste management and air pollution due to household activities and conducted primary research for the same. 2. Development and implementation of technical and IEC interventions like toolkits, training modules and project management dashboard etc. to streamline stakeholders response to air pollution issues. 3. Work on liaising with various funding agencies for procurement of funds for the smooth functioning of projects. 4. Aided national and international agencies like UNEP and WB with technical and management inputs to assist in developing the low carbon pathway and state action plan for the state of Bihar. 5. Drafted the State Action Plan for the state of Bihar for air quality improvement under NCAP. 6. Developed and monitored IEC content on Air pollution to be shared in public domain by social media team of BSPCB. 7. Trained government officials of stakeholder departments on air pollution sensitization training and technical know how of the dashboard for air pollution mitigation.
