Leading the management team and reporting to the Chairman and the Board of Directors. Assisting the Board to develop APESB's strategy and executing the strategy set by the Board. Developing and maintenance of the company's governance and operating procedures. Executing the Board's marketing and communication strategies and leading awareness raising activities of the Board's standards within the accounting profession. Liaising with a range of international and national stakeholders such as IFAC, IESBA, AUASB, AASB, ASIC, APRA, professional accounting bodies, professional services firms to ensure the effective dissemination and implementation of professional standards. Functioning as the Chairman of taskforces created by the Board to develop accounting professional standards. The taskforce comprise of representatives from the accounting profession, accountants in public practice and business and other relevant stakeholders. Responsible for the financial management, tax, compliance activities and IT operations of the Company. Conducting external presentations on APESB’s work and its professional standards to firms, special interest groups of the professional accounting bodies, universities, conferences and various CPD events.
