Responsible for leading an organization of thirty-two engineers organized in four delivery teams building new digital experiences and tools for New York Life’s Agents and Clients. • Lead the execution of a large portfolio of complex projects (~$20M/year), from idea to production working closely with product management and senior management from all lines of the business to understand their needs and constraints; using that to inform the design and implementation of cost-effective scalable solutions. • Drive the functional requirements development, and work with scrum masters to ensure appropriate definition and prioritization to deliver work on-time and within-budget. Drive solution architecture and alignment across the broader technology group through the enterprise architecture group and design reviews. • Partner with product managers to identify opportunities and drive feature and functionality definition and prioritization. • Review technical designs and provide coaching and feedback to improve them. • Manage, coach and mentor team members providing development feedback and identifying opportunities for continued growth.
