Chris Geiger's current jobs
Mr. Geiger initiated this new company to administrate behavioral health treatment programs for persons with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. As CEO and Program Director, responsible for launching our first detox and residential treatment program entitled, "Recovery Guild" in Valley Village (near Studio City/Burbank) in mid-July of 2016 for 24-beds to be followed by intensive outpatient services offered in a nearby clinic, shortly thereafter. The Recovery Guild name was selected to honor the legacy of the facility, which has continuously hosted a substance abuse program since the 1950's when executives from the motion picture industry initiated the first project. In addition to potential clients connected with the entertainment industry, the target population for services include any persons with private health insurance plans (preferred provider option - PPO plans) seeking superior substance use disorder (SUD) treatment services afforded in newly remodeled high-end facilities with many amenities (e.g., swimming pool, Jacuzzi, koi-pond, flat-screen televisions throughout, business center, massage therapy, chef-prepared all-organic meals, recreational outings, etc.). Treatment provided by accomplished team of professionals with decades of experience in the administration of behavioral health programs. Services have been designed based upon strict adherence to evidence-based principles, practices and use of curricula under advisement of leading scholars and scientists from UCSD, UCLA and the University of South Florida, among others, with expertise across the full spectrum of behavioral health disorders. Collectively, our subject matter experts have published hundreds of peer-reviewed studies or articles and/or held prestigious positions in academia and government, including posts on Presidential Commissions on Drug Abuse and at the United Nations.
