• Oversee development, management and maintenance of technologies for this side-project, a gig economy marketplace website written in React, running on AWS. • Manage engineering team in build out of front-end and back-end systems. • Ensure that the front-end experience is well-architected with attention to modern user experience practices and responsive design, using React as the main front-end framework. • Coordinate and build dozens of back-end services to be scalable, reliable and secure, using AWS Amplify, GraphQL and the Serverless Framework. • Perform primary project management role to plan, estimate and coordinate duties among staff, using an array of planning tools including LucidChart, InVision and JIRA.

• Lead developer for a team working on several app projects for Smart TV devices, written in JavaScript, TypeScript and utilizing frameworks such as Vue.js, along with a CircleCI build system. • Prototyping React Native apps for iOS/Android. • Completed an award-winning React Native app called Mood Mirror backed by Azure artificial intelligence APIs. Collaborated closely with design and created the entire front-end app experience. Won the Frēsh 18 Gold Award for Information & UI and Frēsh 18 Gold Award for Product & Industrial. • Sole developer in prototyping a React Native app for a major financial services firm. • Prototyping services in GraphQL running on AWS. • Consulted and implemented features on iOS for our Signal OTT video platform, as well as several other iOS and AppleTV projects for our clients.

• Helping to develop features and functionality for the flagship product app called Patchrat, an app to help recording studio professionals manage their recording sessions. • Curating old Objective-C code and modernizing into Swift, as we also made a UI overhaul from version 1.0 to 2.0.

• Built a custom content managment system (CMS) using PHP, HTML, CSS, jQuery and MySQL that enabled several hundred clients to manage their data and multimedia assets. • Built a custom application programming interface (API) to deliver XML and JSON data. • Implemented website designs from Photoshop/Fireworks into HTML/CSS/jQuery. • Created a distributed video encoding system that enabled clients to submit videos for automatic encoding. • Using PHP and Objective-C, developed improvements to the video encoding system, such as encoding videos for Android, and a better encoding process for iOS videos. • Wrote technical documentation for developers and users of the video encoding system. • Performed deployment of web applications, including database schema migration. • Kept code updated in version control systems (SVN and Git).
