Acting as the Executive Chairman of ATEE (Association Technique Energie Environnement), which is a technical association founded in 1978 to promote Energy Savings, now equally engaged in Energy Efficiency and Climate issues, through dedicated "clubs". For Energy Efficiency : 1/ The "Club C2E", dealing with the French White Certificates regulation (Energy Efficiency Obligation), which presently represents a value of 4 G€/year 2/ The "Cogeneration Club", supporting the simultaneous production of electricity and heat 3/ More generally we support professionals in charge of improving the energy management of their organisations or their customers, with especially a Club ("Communauté") for energy managers For Climate issues : A/ a comprehensive "green gases" cluster with : - the Biogas Club (dealing with methanisation process of biomasse, mostly agricultural waste), which gathers more than 200 organisations and is the second biggest activity of ATEE - the Power to Gas Club, focused on hydrogen and methane production using low carbon electricity and on equilibrium between gas and electricity networks - the Pyrogasification Club, which addresses the transformation of solid biomasse waste into gases (hydrogen and methane) B/ An Energy Storage Club, dedicated to develop heat and electricity storage in order to be able to manage the variations of production of renewable electricity (Solar, wind) + ATEE has 12 regional offices, run by volunteers, which organise local events and are in position to leverage the action of ATEE throughout France + ATEE is publishing the bimonthly review "Energie Plus" More generally ATEE is concerned by issues dealing with Energy & Environment, and is dedicated to produce technical support for both its membership (+2200) and public authorities. It's worth noting that ATEE has been working hand to hand with public authorities and energy&environment agency since the beginning, and is engaged to defend solutions of general interest.
