• Maintenance, programming and design of WordPress Themes and sites, incorportation of CSS and HTML5 and JavaScript • Designed, programmed and developed web sites for various non-profit organizations and small businesses to allow themselves to connect with their target audiences across the country • Converted documents, graphics and video for organizations to be able to share via their web site(s) • Assisted with many conferences as well as created promotional materials, conference web pages and conference agendas and reports • Researched information to ensure clients were using the best possible technology for their web site as well as ensuring they were using the best cost effective hosting to fit their budget • Programmed and developed a web site with three different sections accessible only by authorized users to allow the organization a mechanism to share information with members across the country • Designed an on-line database of users using PHP and MySQL for organizations to maintain and control their registered membership • Created and developed layouts of newsletters, conference and organization brochures, reports and other promotional materials • Assisted in the administration of everyday office duties: drafting of letters, answering and forwarding phone calls to the appropriate personnel, mail outs, creating and maintaining databases and other general office duties • Taught a class of basic web design to Aboriginal students at Teknowave (Willis College) to provide them with enough skill to help them create their own sites for themselves and their communities
