Set up in 1991, Far Group (Fartools brand) is the sole independent supplier in France combining hand power tools, stationnary power tools, garden power tools as well as specialized ranges such as tile, plumbing, dry wall and weldering tools. All products are sold under Fartools brand. (www.fartools.com) Since january 2016, Fargroup is newly operating in Personal Safety Equipments after having been joined by FASHION SECURITE brand and its founder, Céline Lapôtre. FASHION SECURITE has set up the first product line dedicated to women's safety clothes and safety shoes,(www.fashion-securite.com) Far Group serves DIY & e-stores all over Europe and Africa, for both, Fartools and Fashion Sécurité, brands. Since 2012 Fargroup has been joined, as a sister company, by M.P.O, Mejix Peugeot Outillages company. MPO, Mejix Peugeot Outillages, is also involved in power tools throughout its 2 brands Mejix, for tile and plumbing operations, and Peugeot power tools (www.peugeot-1810..com). M.P.O's products are sold in Europe and Africa through DIY & e-stores. Since january 2015, MPO, Mejix Peugeot Outillages, is newly involved into power tools accessories (drill bits, screw bits, saw blades, ...) after MPO has acquired this business formerly hold by another french company. Far Group and M.P.O are both having their head office, operations center (aftersales, sales administration, logistic) in France. Their product developpement, sourcing, QA & QC center is located at Shanghai and operated by FGS, their sister company. Fargroup, MPO and FGS companies are all belonging to Groupe Sigma, hold by C.HUREL and P.BERTRAND as main private share holders, in addition to CM-CIC Investissement (Nantes) and R.GUILLIOT. 40 people are daily operating in France and Europe for both Fargroup and M.P.O. 13 people are working at our Shanghai team.
