Fosters positive safety culture through professional and proactive interactions with employees. Coordinate and provide ongoing EH&S training for all employees. Assist with new employee safety orientation. Partner with site leadership to ensure that accident and incident investigations are conducted in a timely, effective, and thorough manner to determine root cause and prevention measures. Lead the safety committee and help to coordinate activities, recommendations, and accountability of identified issues. Manage OHSA 300 Log(s) & Case management reporting. Managing Spill and other Emergency Response actions. Partner with Human Resources on Worker’s Compensation and applicable FMLA programs. Ensure legislative compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Advise management on the compliance status, cost, and technical improvements needed to achieve compliance. Conduct periodic environmental, health and safety audits of the business against Corporate Standards and Regulatory guidelines. Coordinate with appropriate insurance analysts, industrial hygienists, consultants, clinics and doctors, engineers, and suppliers related to the EH&S needs of the organization.
