• Manufactured cancer vaccines for NCI-supported multicenter phase II clinical trial • Immunophenotyped leukocyte populations in cancer patient blood and tissue samples • Optimized variables for antigen-specific assays • I played a large role in our institute’s contribution to the Global Immunoscore project. We collaborated with a dozen different institutes from around the world to validate and harmonize the Immunoscore as a supplement to TNM/AJCC Staging for colorectal cancers. I was responsible for selecting sections from hundreds of patient materials, managing the cutting, staining and imaging of tissues, performing the chart review of patient data, performing Definiens analyses to quantify CD3 and CD8 counts, alignment of biomarker data with patient data, data transfer with our collaborators, and QA/QC, • Collaborated with Viralytics in investigating immune responses to their oncolytic viral therapy (Cavatak) by interrogating pre and post-treatment melanoma lesions with multicolor-IHC and NanoString.
