• I utilised over 18 years’ experience as regional and divisional CEO, group CTO and Board & CEO Advisor of Hexagon AB to grow the organisation from early stages into a $4.6 billion high-profit market leader. • Built, mobilised and directed large multi-cultural workforces to propel operational growth across the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific for multiple Hexagon businesses, including wide-ranging turnarounds. • Provided strategic oversight of business vision, go-to-market, data/business models, revenue & acquisitions in different sectors and regions, with full P&L responsibility. • As CEO, directly managed different regions, dramatically improving regional efficiency: in Asia-Pacific more than double revenues in 3 years to $102 million and in South America increase revenue over tenfold to $242 million (2002 - 2013). • Led various M&A processes in different group’s divisions and regions; as President of the Ventures Division, I have grown revenues from start to ca. $200 million. • Expanded Hexagon’s presence in different markets, including consumer markets for digital platforms, manufacturing, plants, construction, mining, agriculture, energy, automotive, aerospace, oil & gas, public & private safety, utilities & defence, mobility & transportation. • Directed corporate R&D & built global partnerships with top technology firms, developing lucrative synergies. Coordinated corporate IP and strategy (repository of ca. 3,700 active patents). • Formed the “Innovation Hub”, a transformational corporate initiative, a group with multiple enterprises dedicated to developing innovative foundational and emerging digital technologies and platforms, impactful and instrumental for sponsoring a shift in the vision and strategies into disruptive digital end-to-end solutions. • Championed digital transformation and innovation, inspiring global teams, with a huge portfolio of software solutions to guide seamless execution of JVs, system integration, IT/OT, IP & product strategies.

• As CEO of the Ventures Division, I have grown revenues from incubation to ca. $200 million (2014-2019) and led different global teams, partnerships and acquisitions to compose the correct portfolio in key strategic sectors (Mining, Agriculture, Manufacturing, Digital Platforms and others). • In this period, in parallel with Hexagon’s corporate CTO functions, I have focused on the emerging digital technologies (Data Sciences, AI, ML, Integration, Edge and Cloud computing, Mobility, Visualization, Modern distributed architectures, etc), Digital Platforms strategy and related M&A, and led the group’s technology vision and strategy. • Additionally, I've incubated and developed various internal start-ups into ground-breaking digital platforms and business models, from ideation, R&D of foundational and emerging technologies, design, productization, development of business models and go-to-market strategies as also execution plans. • As Chairman of the Board of Hexagon Capability Centre and CTO, I have managed an organization of ca 2000 developers dedicated to modern enterprise solutions, promoting integration of technology and businesses roadmaps, improving synergies and nurturing disruptive innovation across Hexagon’s R&D resources. • Selected Ventures initiatives: Smart Solutions in Agriculture Digital Platform (AgrOn), Mining (Digital Mine), Asset Control, Communications (collaborative dynamic dashboards), Building and Construction (mobile workforce, event & process management, web portal, etc), Industry 4.0, Modular Assembly (Assembly and Construction, Virtual Assembly, Construction Inspection, Materials, Workforce and event plan), Smart City applications, Water management. • In this tenure, I was responsible for many turnaround initiatives and endeavours, from M&A strategies, business plan and funding, financial structure and P&Ls, restructuring and integrations, financial KPIs and reporting, global operations and partnerships (Americas, Europe, Asia / China).

• Founded and successfully grew 5 start-ups into highly profitable companies in multiple sectors and industries, achieving a consolidated revenue of $460 million, with an average EBIT of 26%, prior to company's sales (divestiture). • Conceived and executed end-to-end strategies to deliver innovative products and solutions in the various industries addressed by these companies (Manufacturing, Process, Plastic Transformation, Machining Tools, Testing and Simulation, Oil & Gas, Digital Platforms).
