Bermad is an Israeli based manufacturer of valves for the agriculture, municipal, and fire protection industries. Victaulic and Bermad formed a JV to pursue a shared interest in the US Fire Protection Valve market. I was asked to join this venture to provide manufacturers representation in the Gulf region (South Arkansas, East Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi & Alabama) to the Petrochemical, Power Generation, Chemical, and Oil & Gas segments. We primarily sold to contractors associated with fire protection that would provide design and installation services. My duty was to influence the decision making process for new projects, upgrades, and maintenance. I did this through building relationships with the AHJ’s in the plant, engineering leaders, and influencers. Contractors were willing to push Bermad with my support since they were able to take me into plants where I would provide product education and training. Industrial Resource was used to further my ability to cover a large territory and be able to coordinate Houston EPC project communication. I was also successful in having our valves installed at several fire training facilities where end users were able to see our product in action outside of a sales situation. ▂▂▂▂▂ As the regional sales manager, I was responsible for the different region, including South Arkansas, East Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. In the position, I participate in long- and short-term goal development and planning, research and develop valued add initiatives while leading major initiatives that cover operations/activities, implementing the epic application on time and budget and more importantly, on value. Key Initiatives: ► Designed and implemented product modifications and improvements; Utilized detailed report on market forecast. <<< If you are interested in learning more about my involvement in these areas, please feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn

My role at DXP has been to maintain sales relationships within an evolving territory, with a focus on rotating equipment. The territory I’m responsible for covers East Texas, South Arkansas, and North Louisiana. It overlapped with other account managers in the region for both pumps and other DXP product groups. Customers are in the business of oil & gas midstream and downstream, coal tar refinement, chemical manufacturing, bromine & bromine chemical manufacturing, pulp & paper, power generation, resins, asphalt roofing to mention a few. HYDRAGEAR, INC is a distributor of fluid power products with approximately forty lines available. ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ After completing my degree, I took a position in outside sales where I continued learning. I developed customer relationships by focusing on the customer’s success. As I found comfort in my career, I took on more responsibilities. I added several new lines for customers and further developed the line within our customer base. To ensure accurate updates and company information, I managed the website and was responsible for vendor relationships which included customer visits, goal setting, and reporting sales conditions the manufacturer representatives.
Main duties included operating the Sand Chief and estimating material amounts on that machine. I also learned to estimate the chemical float and operate the PCM. Other responsibilities, included but were not limited to: revetment setup and maintenance, packing oil, rigging up and rigging down, fluid end rebuilding, and third-party vendor management.
When I was in college, I used my flexible schedule to make hot shot deliveries. I was motivated and quick to respond making me many logistics providers first call for critical deliveries. I was responsible for moving anything from a set of 18” pipe ells destined to the DFW airport freight terminal to Teflon sheets headed to New Orleans for barge construction.
