• Administers all aspects of company payroll for our U.S. (ADP Workforce Now) Canadian (ADP Canada), Australian, and U.K. (third-party payroll preparer) employees. • Manages employee equity plans utilizing Global Shares Equity Administration and Stifel as the stockbroker. • Oversees grants, exercises, and vesting and release of restricted stock units, including coordinating accurate tax withholdings. • Performs equity reconciliations and prepares all equity disclosures within compliance deadlines. • Registers and maintains Department of Revenue and Department of Labor payroll accounts in all states where employees are present. Ensures employee taxes are properly withheld at the federal, state, and local levels. • Establishes controls and procedures for all payroll functions to maintain compliance and deadlines. • Performs monthly and quarterly close activities; prepares reconciliations and journal entries for all payroll, benefits, equity, and taxes. • Files quarterly payroll withholdings including family leave and L&I in all required states. • Maintains worker's compensation insurance in all states and countries where employees are present. • Reconciles employee benefits and invoices for the company 401k, HSA, FSA, and benefit insurance policies. Ensures employee benefit deductions are current. • Quickly resolves employee concerns in relation to payroll, benefits, and employee equity plans. • Participates in and prepares schedules for financial and 401k audits.
