This project started as a way to bring a bit of joy into my community. The goal was to give away free pizzas made from local ingredients in exchange for feedback, but it's growing beyond my little second floor balcony. I'm learning about sustainable business by running one for myself, seeing the reality of it first-hand. My thought is that people want alignment between their values and their food, which means: • Sourcing ingredients as locally and/or responsibly as possible • Buying sustainable supplies, think along the line of boxes that don't contribute to deforestation • Being transparent about the whole thing I want this to be a model for how businesses can thrive while having a focus on the greater good. I know I'm getting ahead of myself, but that's the vision.
