DAWN: Diversity At Work Network (DAWN). The DAWN project was primarily funded by the Irish Government department for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation and was designed to communicate the benefits of having a diverse workforce within Irish national and multinational corporations. It aimed to exchange best practice, to provide local employers with the skills and resources they need to develop DAWN networks and programmes in their own firms, to break down social barriers and to provide guidance and information to migrant workers. Whilst working on this programme I engaged with senior representatives from McDonalds Ireland, Cement Roadstone Holdings (CRH), Phillips Ireland, Allied Irish Bank (AIB), Bewleys Ireland & Coca-Cola.
