Lead inventor on a patent application to cover 2-octyl acrylate adhesive compositions. Supervised efforts to incorporate recycled industrial resin and recycled coated tapes into high-volume products. Proposed, patented, and developed a new glue stick for school and craft markets which has become a key product. Personally oversaw scale-up in Mexico, including equipment design and installation.
Maximized clarity of films while maintaining desired mechanical properties for Crystal Clear Transparent Tape. Also identified critical coating physical property specifications to enable production with a wider array of adhesives.
