Clinical executive for: • Virtual Care/ Telehealth Segment • Hospital & Health Systems Segment • Medical Expert Division Dr. Field is responsible for overseeing all clinical staff operations and quality assurance for MDstaffers. He provides clinical leadership to MDstaffers’ provider network and assists in creating innovative staffing models to help healthcare organizations meet their staffing needs while upholding the highest quality standards. Dr. Field is an emergency physician by training and has practiced emergency medicine for more than 30 years. Dr. Field is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and maintains an active clinical practice. Dr. Field has been a medical school instructor for more than 25 years and currently serves the California Medical Board as an expert reviewer/consultant. Dr. Field is a Reserve Deputy Sheriff and provides medical guidance to the Sacramento County Sheriff SWAT/SED team. Dr. Field received his medical degree from the University of California at San Francisco, completed an internship at Highland Hospital in Oakland and residency at University Hospital in Cincinnati. Dr. Field has an active California medical license. He has experience practicing in resource-rich, urban hospitals as well as under-served, rural, critical-access facilities. Dr. Field has served as an expert witness for cases involving personal injury, criminal law, standard of care, and malpractice. He has also been a featured speaker, panelist and talk show guest.
