The primary assignment was to create an online administration tools. This tool was used for storing server configuration, switch and apm interface information and passwords. The tool was build in Perl/CGI and had: - a modular design - automatic update mechanism - inheritable user authentication The information was securely stored using rijndael and blowfish encryption. Extra assignments where the creation of an online server shop and an online FAQ. Requirements of the webshop: - live update of server costs - Inpage selection of hardware configuration - Automatic generation of a personalised order in PDF format - Content Management System to add/edit/remove servers and add promotions Requirements of the FAQ: - Fuzzy matching results. - Content Managements System to add/edit/remove questions and answers. - Automatically show the last added and top 10 questions on the frontpage.
