ONE TEAM - Sports for Social Change is a non-profit organization (originally established in 2004 as Budo for Peace ) whose mission is to promote personal growth, good mental and physical health, social change, tolerance and peace through sports as an educational platform in all sectors of society. One Team is currently working on the following focus areas: The Sports for Social Impact Coalition: A growing movement of sports for peace and sports for social change stakeholders in Israel. The Coalition currently has 13 members, who collectively have 25,000 participants and are active in 384 locations across the country. Together we are are working to: - Scale-up impact through partnerships, joint activities and knowledge sharing. - Create system-level change (in addition to programs and services). - Increase investments and resources for the sector. - Increase awareness of the vital role which sports can play in connecting youth from different social, economic and cultural backgrounds.
