As Chair, the role is largely an overseeing and coordinating role and on paper I am the voice of the SRA and the main representative for the organisation. My responsibilities as the Chair of the SRA are: - Spokesperson for the Organisation - Manage relationships with key radio industry stakeholders - Support the other Officers of the Organisation. - Responsible for the organisation and chairing of Executive Committee and General Meetings. - Work alongside the other Officers to secure the viable long-term future of the Organisation and its Members. - Responsible for overseeing any campaigns or lobbying which the Organisation may undertake from time to time. - Ultimate accountability for all press and publications issued by the Organisation. - Ultimate accountability for the financial affairs of the Organisation.
