Responsible for leading the development, maintenance, and execution of sourcing strategies to maximize business value across the Software, Cloud, IaaS, and PaaS categories. Manage a team of Category Leads and work closely with key business partners to ensure technology needs are delivered through the appropriate category strategy and buying channels. Set overall strategy for the team, partnering with senior leaders at a global and regional level, owning direct relationships and contract negotiations with key suppliers, coaching and developing category managers, communicating strategies throughout organization with intent of influencing and gaining agreement among key constituents, and executing against time-bound deliverables to drive positive operational and financial outcomes that ensure McKesson operates in a strategic and goal-oriented manner.
