I launched ABP Club on 24 September 2004 as a trade body for all sides of the UK body repair industry. We now have over 2,500 members including all of the top bodyshop groups, motor insurance companies, accident management companies, refinish paint companies and distributors, parts suppliers and vehicle manufacturers. - The ABP Daily Newsletter is sent every day at 3.00pm to our 2,500 members with an average of 15 news items relevant to our market. - The ABP Club website (www.abpclub.com) had over 1 million visits in 2021 with nearly 5 million pages viewed and 10 million hits. - The ABP Industry Yearbook started in 2007 and is fully updated each year. It is known as "The Industry Bible" as it is THE industry reference book for facts and figures on the UK bodyshop market - Our quarterly magazine - Auto Body Professional - began in Spring 2011 and a printed copy of each issue is posted to nearly 4,500 recipients. The magazine is also read on-line over 2,000 times per issue. - We hold the biggest awards event in the world for the bodyshop industry, with 865 guests attending the British Bodyshop Awards (BBA) in Manchester in May 2022. - The ABP annual Convention & Night of Knights event started in 2006 with over 620 attending the November 2021 event at the Vox centre in Birmingham. - The annual ABP Guide to Retail Charges came into prominence when it was referred to by name in the Coles v Heatherton case heard as an appeal at the High Court (Commercial Court) in June 2012. It is now the benchmark for retail rates with the July 2022 version being dowloaded over 3,000 times.
