I was also the executive sponsor for some of our largest global customers, and a frequent presenter at MarkLogic and industry events.
Founded the SharePoint Online team (a core service of Office365), set vision, drove architecture and specification of the SharePoint Online service. Managed team of 20+ Program Managers and engineers across Redmond and Beijing to deliver the service and maintain it in production.
Multi-discipline manager and P&L owner of a 17-person startup engineering team delivering e-learning software to K-12 schools and corporations; drove market opportunity analysis, product strategy, vision, specification and delivery; managed $4M+ budget; organized and led customer and partner conferences; participated in sales calls; drove strategic alliances with publishers and school districts; coordinated and presented briefings to top customer executives.
Extricity was a start-up provider of Java- and XML-based enterprise software for inter-business process management, which they call B2B relationship management. In March 2001 Extricity was acquired by Peregrine Systems, which subsequently ceased operation. Gathered, analyzed and prioritized requirements from customers, Sales, Marketing and strategic partners; planned overall release schedules; tracked the product through development; created technical application notes, presentations and field training.
Designed, specified, planned, scheduled and managed high-impact feature areas for Microsoft PowerPoint for Windows. Shipped four major releases of PowerPoint and numerous point releases. Helped grow PowerPoint from post-startup to $1 billion+ revenue.
