Brought on for a six month contract to implement the delivery of a new one to one events portfolio for Harpers Wine & Spirit, my role was multi-faceted, focusing on conference production, delegate acquisition, and sponsorship, as well as helping out with logistics and marketing where I could. The Wine Buyers Forum was considered a success, although due to various internal issues (most of which were technology based) the event didn't achieve all it could.
Managing teams in UK and the US, my role was to increase the distribution and sale of our magazines and research reports, but also to oversee the events team in their management of the 25 events globally.
Worked as Dignitary Assistant to the US, Canadian and Bermudan Olympic and Paralympic delegation, liaising with LOCOG to provide scheduling, transportation and event hospitality for senior delegation, including the US First Lady.
