This was to ensure components were safe for use, conformed to company and customer specifications. Blackburn and Darwen - Ensuring the life span and safety of components, used in the Utility and Automotive industries, both UK and Dubai. Worked with another NDT company, to perform Penetrant Testing / Dye Pen on stainless steel components. These consisted of sheet metal plates, including fillet, strip, and butt weldment fabrications. Advanced Manufacturing Park - Conducted in-house visual inspection, MPI Fluorescent and PT/Dye Pen, on final processed forged petrochemical components, which included stainless, carbon steel seals, gaskets, conductors, and receptacles used both in sub-sea and surface applications. Nuclear Site - Performed visual inspections of enriched uranium storage cylinders in accordance with company, working at height and HSE specifications. Ensuring all correct PPE was worn, TLD’s, safety harnesses, including paper suits when conducting visual inspections inside a controlled contaminated area.
