Running a freelance business requires a great deal of adaptability and mental agility to switch between roles as well as work with different personality types in clients and vendors that I work with. Local business owners have very little time as it is and making sure to communicate needs and opportunities to them can often be challenging, but showing the results in the end made the efforts very rewarding. I think though the most I have gained from freelance work is being able to manage campaigns with several different vendors and the personality types that I have encountered between designers, programmers, and copywriters. I believe this has really sharpened my skill to work with different communication styles and needs across different disciplines and departments to see a campaign through from inception to launch.
