The main components belonging to this commodity are: bumpers, grilles, exterior plastic trims, roof bars, spoilers, headlamps, tail lamps, glasses, wipers, black plastic, badges, fuel flaps, etc. As head of a group of 11 people in EMEA and coordinating 40 people globally I am responsible for the budget, for the supplier awarding as result of a global sourcing process for all the regions and for the benchmark activities (value analysis, competitiveness) on current products.
I was Head of a group of 8 people, with responsibility on all vehicles belonging to L0,C/D segments,Cross initiatives,Electrification segments and acting on: - New product development purchasing activity, since technical documentation availability to start of production. - Supplier changes, managing cost, timing and industrialization - Tooling analyst group support. - Supplier production capacity issues, verifying gaps between demand of each FCA EMEA plants and the best way to achieve it both with short and medium actions. - Supplier quality engineering support, strongly acting on supplier issues and development, quality standard applications - Coordination of Value optimization process
