BiD Network Foundation helps emerging market entrepreneurs to attract investment. We do this by matching entrepreneurs to investors from our network. Our large and diverse network consists of over 200 private investors and investment funds, which allows us to find financing for amounts as small as USD 10,000 up to over USD 1,000,000. Apart from the actual matchmaking, we provide investment ready support, as well as business growth support. Since 2007, we secured over 30 million in funding for more than 200 entrepreneurs worldwide, of which 2.2 million for 14 businesses in Uganda. Responsibilities -Managing of Regional Office and providing support to local team; -Screen applications efficiently using the BiD Network criteria, analyse and verify key assumptions underpinning the business plans. Build the financial models and conduct a risk assessment; -Support the clients in developing and implementing business plans, financial plans and risk assessment and mitigation plan. Support implementation of a financial management system that produces monthly management accounts; -Conduct regular formal portfolio visits and provide feedback to the Angel Investors; -Relationship management of East Africa Investor Network; -Relationship management of East Africa consultants network; -Engaging informal investors, SME funds, banks, business angel networks and other (development) organizations to invest in SMEs; -Conducting monitoring and impact assessment of financed businesses; -Managing relations with partners that provide access to quality deal flow; -Keep abreast of all government legislation and regulatory requirements which may affect the operations of the portfolio companies.
