D1 Certified (501c3): To decrease crime and recidivism rates by providing certified life coaching in a caring and empowering environment, and ongoing advocacy for our nation’s previously incarcerated youth, between the ages of 17-24, in order to assist them achieve education success and become reformed working citizens. D1 Certified will become the leader in recidivism for young adults by: • Understanding the Young Adult’s Personal Needs: By obtaining a professional assessment to determine the most effective treatment and/or intervention necessary to meet the needs of each individual, D1 Certified will develop a reentry plan by identifying his/her individual risk of recidivating and personal needs. • Partnering with Young Adult: Mentoring, coaching, serving and supporting previously incarcerated youth in creating life plans, staying on track to achieve life plan goals, and succeeding in their life transition from imprisonment to law-abiding citizens. • Partnering with Community Organizations: Creating a stable organizational foundation through community partnerships to provide reform assistance to young adults. • Creating a Safe and Caring Environment: Attracting and obtaining the best people by only involving individuals with specialized experience and a passion to decrease crime and youth incarceration. • Improving or Focus Research and Development: Achieving collective impact for positive systematic change and providing measurable results.
