Everything I do in real life comes down to one move: I find a workflow that is being done manually, and I turn it into technology. 1099 hiring is a hard one to do that with, because the workflow is not just complex, it is legally risky. There is a real market match between companies that cannot afford W-2 sales reps and contractors who do not want W-2 work, but a single misclassification can bring the IRS down on you. So I automated the whole thing. I broke the workflow into its real steps, finding contractors, hiring them, onboarding them in a legally compliant way, and built each step as an automated flow with the compliance rules engineered directly in. Then I productized it. That is how I think: find the workflow, automate it end-to-end, build the structure that keeps it reliable, make it repeatable.
