Diane Hagopian

Diane has been dedicated to empowering youth and marginalized segments of society through two virtual seminars offered through HoistPoint, an education-based, social impact company. Though she has been a writer and activist since childhood, she started HoistPoint in 2016 after a life-changing trip to a human rights conference at the United Nations in Switzerland. HoistPoint combines Diane's love of writing with her passion for change. After her trip, she spent two years conducting research on the intersectional issue of human trafficking, which invariably led her to thoroughly examining other issues, industries, public policies, economic and social trends, etc. In addition to creating the curricula for HoistPoint, she continues to write and advocate for the rights of all, sustainability, and the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals in general. From public policy to economic empowerment to social justice to the future of work to technological innovations, Diane's wide range of interests is evident in her writing and HoistPoint's curricula.
