Senior leader of leaders role, with ownership of a global procurement organization, providing strategic leadership for a large team of high performing regional senior leaders, procurement category managers and procurement specialists, to meet complex strategic procurement and supplier relationship management requirements needed to support the ongoing operation, security and resilience of hundreds of AWS data center facilities globally.

Head of procurement, contracts and supply chain management, with additional responsibility for the efficient control, expenditure and accounting of the Air Corps budget. Responsible for the performance management of external contractual relationships (SRM) and internal procurement and tendering processes. Delivery of a program of continuous improvement and efficient management of an international supply chain and associated contract agreements to optimize cost, lead times and quality. Delivery of substantial cost reductions, particularly through the development of lean supply chain and strategic procurement initiatives and development of negotiation strategies for single source suppliers. Lecturer on middle and senior logistics management programs delivering complete procurement modules and lecturing on complementary topics such as project management, lean six sigma, operations management and supply chain. - Air Traffic Controller (2nd In Command & Operations Officer) *Provision and management of approach and aerodrome air traffic services. Civ-Mil Airspace co-ordination, liaison and planning. - Airfield Services Officer *Responsible for ensuring continuous & safe operational availability of all airport airside facilities and infrastructure. Management responsibility included areas such as; Airfield Safeguarding, Bird Control Program, Grasslands Management Program and airfield maintenance requirements. Preparation of associated reports and advice, management of associated contracts and contractors. - Squadron Administration Officer *Preparation of annual budget estimates, general administration of all ATC documents and logbooks and records and all HR administration relating to squadron personnel.

Various positions most recently within the Naval College and National Maritime College of Ireland in the areas of: - Head of Research Innovation and Development. *Tasked with the establishment and management of a research & development capacity within the Naval Service and support initial participation in and establishment of IMERC, the Irish Maritime and Energy Research Cluster.Responsibilities included strategic direction and planning, opportunity identification, cross functional team coordination and leadership, development of proposals and budgets for a range of new R&D projects. Management of budgets and preparation of reports for ongoing R&D projects across a range of disciplines incl maritime security and intelligence, Diving technologies, Marine Sciences and Education. - Third level Accreditation of Naval Service courses. *Design of overall programs and constituent modules for two Higher Certificate programs and one Degree program in Naval Studies, Leadership & Management. These programs were designed to support the leadership development of candidates identified as potentially suitable to fill junior to lower middle management roles. -Continuous Improvement & Quality Manager *Design, implementation, staff training and lead internal auditor of quality & continuous improvement system for both the Naval College and National Maritime College of Ireland. First third level institution in Ireland to achieve ISO 9001 QMS certification.
