Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice was established in 1990 by 103 founders from the Silesian Voivodeship. During the 32 years of tradition, CCI in Katowice became a strong partner for business entities in Silesia and in other regions of Poland. Supporting of Business is not our only area of activity, we have strong relations with scientific, self-governmental and national institutions of Poland. If we sum up the number of companies with which we cooperate, we will get 2000 business entities. We are the most dynamically operating Chamber of Commerce in Poland! Our experience and will of growth of our member companies pushed us to create the international network, we have branches in Israel and Pakistan. Our international partners are in United States (Nevada State), Słovakia, Czech, China, India, Hungary, and Ukraine.

I am a German attorney and senior partner at TIGGES Rechtsanwälte. In addition, I am a certified specialist for both commercial and corporate law as well as for international business law. Since the beginning of my legal practice, I have been advising German, Polish and international companies on various commercial law issues, in particular on the establishment of companies and expansion abroad, in the areas of contract, commercial and corporate law as well as real estate law. I advises on various constellations of business activities and corporate law structuring options. Moreover, I assist with transactions in the area of companies and real estate (M&A) on the buyer and seller side. One of my main areas of specialisation is German-Polish business transactions; as a native German and Polish speaker, I advise medium-sized and large companies from Germany and Poland in their cross-border trade activities and investments in their respective neighbouring countries.

AIJA is the only global association devoted to lawyers and in-house counsel aged 45 and under. Since 1962 AIJA provides outstanding international opportunities for young lawyers to network, learn and develop. AIJA currently has 4,000 members and supporters in 90 different countries, including over 60 collective members and Bar Associations. The AIJA community is very diverse, as members come from law firms of all sizes and cultures. The activities of AIJA are coordinated by 20 scientific commissions, in charge of organising our events all around the globe and keeping members up to the date in their respective areas of practice. AIJA is committed to defend and take active part in promoting core legal principles, such as the rule of law and human rights principles. While respecting the integrity of each civilized society of the world, a particular aim of AIJA is to advance cross-cultural understanding between members and other participants in the legal profession as a whole.

AHK Poland (Polish-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce) is not only the bilateral chamber with the largest number of member companies in Poland, but also one of the largest German Foreign Chambers of Industry and Commerce (AHK) in the world. AHK Poland represents the interests of about 1,000 member companies and has been working for the development of Polish-German economic relations for twenty years. Established in 2006, ICLA (the International Commercial Law Alliance) is a strategic grouping of law firms from across the globe. ICLA does not itself offer legal services, only its member law firms do, and clients form attorney/client relationships with the particular law firm(s) representing them. Our goal is to enable clients to receive first class legal advice to their clients in whatever jurisdiction is required. Member firms are not just chosen for their reputation and expertise, but also for their commitment to client care standards.
