Alpine is a middle market private equity firm founded over 20 years ago on the belief that investing in passionate individuals is the key to building enduring companies. We invest in business services and software companies and work alongside Alpine-recruited operating executives to accelerate growth. Over five years I have scaled Alpine's processes and operations to oversee a nearly 11x increase in AUM through our flagship funds and three GP-led single asset continuation vehicles, including the industry’s largest such transaction in 2023 awarded PEI Secondaries Deal of the Year. As Partner and CFO, I wear many hats and am responsible for the day-to-day of the firm including Fund and Mgt Co accounting, legal / compliance, cybersecurity, investor relations, and firm-wide data systems. I specialize in incubating and scaling functions that may not typically sit within the office of the CFO such as ESG, data analytics, capital markets (portfolio company leverage as well as Fund-level facilities), and portfolio company financial operations. Our capital markets team tied with Thoma Bravo in 2023 for 8th most direct lending deals closed in the US per KBRA DLD. I seek to define a new path for private equity CFOs to rapidly scale and influence the business *beyond* the back office.
