Led process design and improvement initiatives focused on enabling store team success in cash management, inventory management, POS, store communications, omnichannel order fulfillment and COVID-19 SOPs. Tested, piloted, and led successful deployment of new store technologies including a EMV at the pump, self checkout, and a digital communications system (Theatro) for use by all 35,000+ associates.
Led the operations organization in taking a data driven approach to driving process improvement and enhancing existing store technologies as well as identifying, testing and deploying new technologies. My team's efforts improved accuracy of inventory, eliminated manual processes related to ordering, receiving, web order fulfillment, in store communications and also enabled measurement of store execution. As the product owner for many store technologies I built many effective relationships in IT. Together we delivered hundreds of enhancements to store users and deployed two major new platforms included a customized mobile handheld and a wearable, smart communication devices to over 5000 store managers and associates. Other focuses included: Ordering, receiving, inventory management, vendor management, shelf replenishment, picking and packing, analytics, operational audits, business cases.
