• Developed and oversaw the implementation of a creative and entrepreneurial 5 year fundraising strategy. Raising income from £779k to £1.05m over first 3 years (despite the impact of the pandemic and cost of living crisis). • Inputting with fellow SMT on the organisational strategy. Meeting with and presenting to Trustees. • Consultation, and strategic input and guidance with agency and internal staff re. installation of new org-wide CRM. • Managing the Development Council to build pipeline of individual and corporate prospects, converting to supporters. • Major Donor & Individuals. Leading on appeals; BBC Radio 4 (£38k), and Champions for Children (£7k). • Design and delivery of events; Sir Antony Gormley event at White Cube (£32k) – stewarding of Sir Antony and securing White Cube as a gift in kind. Virtual Gala (£53k) – developing a format that could be run online, in light of the pandemic. • Securing Create as charity beneficiary of Durham University Charity Fashion Show, and supporting them to raise £56k. • Review and input on Trusts and Foundation proposals, supporting bid writing and stewarding. • Input in to applications that successfully saw Create awarded Charity of the Year 2020 and Digital Transformation of the Year 2021 by the Charity Times. • Lead on individual donors, members and corporate partners. Identifying prospects and converting into major gifts / funding partnerships. • Line managing the fundraising team, ensuring they are working to and achieving SMART targets. • Development and ongoing promotion of a new Legacy and In-Memory programme. • Implemented a relationship fundraising model to ensure that Create are offering excellent support and stewardship; integrating activities with corporate, individual giving, and legacy fundraising functions.
