COHISPANIA was created in 1989 completely private and registered in the Registry of specialized Appraisal, in the care of Banco de España, the 7th September 1989 number 4368 Since 1989 till 1999 the company increased its geographical coverage of the offices in Madrid, Valencia and Cantabria from position 150 in the ranking of appraisal companies to the 25. Between the years 1999 and 2000 it was taken over Spania Tasaciones increasing the geographical expansion with the opening of offices in Sevilla and Granada. This company strategy allowed us to reach the position 14 in the ranking of similar companies in Spain. During those years we started our international path with the valuation activity in Argentina. Between the years 2001 and 2003 it was taken the company Universal de Tasaciones proceeding with the opening of offices in Barcelona, Vigo, Zaragoza and Valladolid allowing us to reach position 12 of the Spanish appraisal companies. Between the years 2004 and 2005 we increased our company size and we opened the offices of Las Palmas, Tenerife and Cádiz. In 2007 we betted on the opening of old country markets of the east positioning us in Romania with the creation of SC Cohispania Consulting SRL in Bucharest and Hunedoara. Nowadays we are in position 10 on the ranking of appraisal companies.
