Contabilizei is the biggest online accountancy office in Brazil. I acted as a full stack developer, developing e improving the online accountancy platform. We use Google Cloud Platform, Java, Kotlin, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, queues, message brokers, Docker, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and StackDriver. I also worked as a Tech Leader and member of the DevOps team. Some featured projects I've worked on: - Taxes issuing automation. I worked on the first releases of the taxes issuing system of Contabilizei, creating robots and crawlers for minimizing errors and saving time for accountants. - Digital Certificate issuing. I worked on developing a platform to allow clients to buy and issue a digital certificate (e-CNPJ) through the Contabilizei Platform, in a secure way. - Deploy of the first cluster of Kubernetes. When Contabilizei started to grow, we saw the need for a way that we could deploy new services quickly, that have support for horizontal scale, external configurations, monitoring, and zero downtime rollout. I helped the team choose Kubernetes and deploy the first version of the cluster and some tools for automation in this environment. - Personal Income tax filling. This project had the objective to fill and deliver the Personal Income tax to Receita Federal do Brasil (the IRS from Brazil), without the need to customers install the official software from RFB. The service could use data directly from customers or data generated by income data from the customer's company.
Zênite is one of the most respected legal consulting companies on public procurement in Brazil. As Innovation Analyst, I started a project to extract and categorize data about government public purchases, available through public portals like ComprasNet. Data was extracted, categorized, and organized, allowing customers to search for information about items in various public bids and contracts, comparing practiced prices in several country regions and available providers. The big objective was to build a large data repository and a analysis mechanism for this kind of data. I kept up with the development of this project for an outsourcing company. Another objective acquired was starting the migration process of our application to the cloud, delivering agility to the application deploy process e increasing the range of available technologies for the company, reducing its cost.
Zênite is one of the most respected legal consulting companies on public procurement in Brazil. As a Programmer, I worked on several projects, like Lei Anotada, WebZênite, and the company portal. I highlight 2 projects I've worked on: - LeiAnotada.com is a product in which several Brazilian laws, including public procurement laws, were "enriched" with legal notes which were used for better understanding. Such notes include other legislation, jurisprudence, doctrines, among other ones. The big challenge in this project was to create a data structure to organize the laws with the respective notes, so that could be easy access starting from paragraphs and items. Creating a full-text search mechanism was a challenge too. The search needed to be broad, fast, and no always exact terms. - WebZênite is an online legal library that contains laws, doctrine articles, jurisprudence, and other texts related to public procurement. Every kind of document contains metadata that eases document classification, like authors, publish date, courts involved, among other information. The challenge faced here was to develop an application that allows dynamic document structure for administrators and editors to be capable to create new kinds of documents by themself. These new documents could be searched by their text or even by newly created metadata. In both projects, we used Java, with SQL Server and Sencha ExtJS.
As a software developer, I worked developing systems using technologies like Java, with a focus on Struts 2, Hibernate, and Spring. I also used .net Technologies using C#, Asp.Net, and Linq to SQL. I would like to highlight 3 projects: - Powerpoint presentation generator. This project can create a presentation from a dashboard with graphics and indicators, saving managers time in building presentations. - Price and inventory data extractor. A multinational electronics company had access to the inventory systems of several retailers and needed to monitor the stock of such retailers daily. I helped build a crawler that extracted data from the products of that company, in addition to the prices charged, and assembled reports and graphs of accompaniments. - After-sales system for automakers. The differential of this product is that it was possible to customize the forms and the flow, just creating and changing XML files, without the need to codify new fields and attributes to be used in the forms. The technical team gained more agility in the development of new flows to be used in the after-sales system.
