Eknauth Persaud

Serves as the managing partner of Ayoka, overseeing key operations at the company. Recently awarded a patent in AI that automates the capture and tabulation of observed behaviors of a laboratory animal in a clinical trial. Eknauth provides project based consulting to improve metrics on quality, observability, and productivity for industries whose workforce consists of primarily blue collar or gray collar (e.g. healthcare) workers. For Ayoka’s software due diligence services, Eknauth has served as an independent analyst in support of contract disputes, litigation services, and technical consultation for mergers and acquisition activities. Key evaluations include assessment of a firm’s software quality, application architecture, software development and application management processes to meet objectives for appropriate valuations, structure of acquisitions, and to assess information technology assets with respect to scalability and future growth objectives. Prior to Ayoka, Eknauth's background includes management experience at Siemens Energy and Automation, Tellabs (formerly Advanced Fibre Communications) and Lockheed Martin (formerly IBM Federal Systems). Eknauth holds a B.S. and M.S. in Civil & Transportation Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), with his thesis in expert systems (artificial intelligence) development to improve and accelerate civil engineering design processes. Eknauth served in the United States Marine Corps (USMC) from 1990 to 1997, including active duty and reserve service, in the infantry and is jump (airborne) qualified.
