SSIP is actively reducing health and safety assessment costs and bureaucracy in the supply chain, by making cross-recognition between member schemes as effective as possible, and highlighting the savings to buyers and suppliers. Role includes: > Act as leading representative to all stakeholders including presentation of SSIP’s corporate values and mission statement, > Take the chair at full forum meetings, > Take the chair at board meetings ensuing an effective agenda is in place; that the board receives accurate, timely and clear information; keeping track of the contribution of individual directors and ensuring that they are all involved in discussions and decision-making, > Take a leading role in determining the composition of the board taking into consideration promoting the success of SSIP and ensuring continued corporate governance, > Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders.
