Main responsibilities: • Research and identify potential suppliers capable of supplying (custom) equipment and services required and new projects development; • Conduct sourcing, bid evaluation, selection and procurement of materials and services required; • Prepare purchase orders in ERP system, get required approvals and issue purchase orders to suppliers; • Perform evaluation and pre-qualification of potential suppliers including researching historical performance and financial strength and validate supplier references through contact with previous customers; • Manage inventory levels of the assigned product groups; • Balance avoidance of any production interruptions and inventory targets; • Analyze systems generated data on proposed ordering quantities; • Align the proposal with additional data provided, personal assessment and expertise, placing appropriate orders on the external vendors; • Follow up receipt, process related paperwork and payment to the vendors; • Ensure timely updating of ERP system
