RESPONSIBILITIES  Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals  Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage  Help departments to choose the right technology/tools for designing and developing software  Lead to around 300 employees like system analysts, programmers, quality testers, project managers, business analysts etc for different products.  Lead the following divisions and departments for development, quality testing, and implement the products:  Software services Division (SSD): Core Banking Solution named BankUltimus is one of the pure inhouse development product which is running in 11 banks in Bangladesh. Guide the developers to do modifications and add the new features and products in continuous basis.  Customer Support Services Division (CSSD): Lead to ensure the implementation of different products like renown brand cisco contact centre for different banks, money sorter machine, network setup, RDBMS, data centre setup, layer 7 security setup for the banks.  Lead the Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet banking, Agent banking, Insursoft (solution for insurance company), mBnak, Bluchips, and Capita (Capital market software), IOT, Blockchain, digital technology, quality assurance test, etc  Build quality assurance and data protection processes  Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance  Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology  Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors

2016 – 30 May 2019 (Senior Executive Vice President & Head of IT) 2013 – 2015 (Executive Vice President & Head of ICT) Direct lead, supervision, and management of an Information Technology, Business Process Management, Network/Systems Management, Solutions and Integration, and ensure the business process continuation. Define corporate direction, objectives, and targeted initiatives vital to driving corporate revenue growth. Successfully develop and launch internal policies and procedures instrumental in achieving corporate goals. Proficiently lead major infrastructure, process, and methodology development, hardware/software installation, maintenance and support, and system integration projects with commitment to ensure communications consistency, compatibility, and quality. Member: Management Committee, Procurement Committee, SRP, Risk Management Committee, IT Security Committee, IT Steering Committee, Business Review Committee. Key Project Achievements: Implementation of Core Banking Solution with all business modules along with integration with ICT based supportive financial and nonfinancial services. Preparation of international standard ICT Policy, Disaster recovery plan, Business continuity plan, IT strategic plan. Tire 3 data centre, Data centre and network infrastructure migration, Layer 7 network security implementation, In-house HRM system development including payroll, provident fund, leave management, performance appraisal and E-learning. Lead the team to prepare the 5 years’ strategic plan with full-fledged guideline to achieve the goal.

2008 – 2013 (Senior Vice President and Head of Information Technology) Streamlined processes and reduced redundancies by deploying project management tools for CBS, Network infrastructure development, hardware tender float and procurement, BACPS implementation and data center setup. Proactively supported IT division’s performance enhancements through strategic reorganization, sound management, and the development and implementation of improved human resource allocation practices and operational processes. Introduced standardized formal life cycle process for all projects. Member: Management Committee, Procurement Committee, Risk Management Committee, IT Steering Committee, IT working group, CBS Review Committee. Key Project Achievements: State-of-the Art and International Standard Data Center set-up and DR Site. Renowned shariah based CBS named Silverlake Integrated Islamic Banking Solution implementation. Implementation of Electronic Data Warehouse (EDW) to support generation of regular and special types of MIS reports. Pre-requisite like Functional Specification Document (FSD), Gap Analysis with business practice and UAT for CBS implementation. Testing and go live of BACPS, BEFTN and ATM Project cost: Approximately the total project cost for the above was 8.5 million US dollars. Successfully led and closed all the deals with the vendors for procurement of Silverlake Integrated Islamic Banking Solution (SIIBS) from Silverlake Malaysia, data center establishment, I-series from IBM, Router, switches and other network accessories from Cisco, and some other Intel Based servers, Desktop PCs etc. All procurement completed through strong negotiation with vendors and followed through bank procurement policy.

2006 – 2008 (First Vice President and Head of ICT) Lead the Information Technology Division, online Core Banking software implementation, assessment and suggestion for future technology roadmap. Objective setup and impart training to ICT team, ICT product and vendor evaluation and selection. Key Project Achievements Lead the vendor evaluation, selection and implementation of CBS project. Project profile, hardware/software analysis, and business scope and system adaptability study. SMS banking, ATM and MIS project implementation.

2005 – 2006 (Assistant Vice President and Deputy Head of IT) Lead the Network Technology team for design, implementation and support of all Infrastructure projects. Product evaluation and vendor selection. Planning for objectives and training requirements for ICT team. Key Project Achievements CBS Project Profile Preparation for application s/w, hardware, and infrastructure and business requirements analysis, RFP Work assignment among the team members, correction of their deviations and evaluation of the outcomes like Standardization of business workflow and product definition, Data Cleansing and Enrichment, clients’ Signature and photographs collection with set goals.

1999 – 2005 (Senior Principal Officer) Lead the Network Technology team along with vendor evaluation and selection, Software development for In-housing automation. Key Project Achievements Hands on experience for LAN/WAN set-up, Contribution to RFP preparation for CBS procurement, In-house software development for Loan Tracking, remittance, inventory management, payment order etc.
