Business results included driving incremental advertising revenue, customer engagement, and downstream purchasing behavior across Amazon. Built 40 person team comprised of SDEs, Sr. Product and Program leaders, Business Development, Economists, Business Intelligence Engineers, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers. Developed the customer analytics, marketing attribution, and valuation (LTV) suite for Alexa Shopping worldwide.
Built and scaled first end-to-end buying automation system for multi-billion dollar Shoes & Apparel business. Collaborated with distributed product, engineering, and science teams. Improved buying automation rate from 0% to 95% YoY and drove +$XXM in contribution profit improvements YoY.
Owned $XB P&L, drove all online merchandising and sales strategies for physical Media category, and led organization of 20 Sr. Vendor Managers/Buyers. Implemented the first-ever joint physical/digital media negotiations with all major studios and delivered +$XXM in YoY contribution profit improvements. Responsible for all studio partnerships supporting the physical media retail business.
