Founded Bluespring Software, providing the technology and development leadership to take from concept to commercial product, a unique order entry, order management, workflow, rating and billing solution that leverages metadata architecture at its core, enabling rapid test, trial and launch of communication products. Bluespring delivered its product to Tier 1 carriers in support of complex orders from the point of sales to the operational delivery of service. Grew the organization from 3 to 130 people, secured a total of $24M in venture funding, and worked in a diverse set of roles from inception to exit. Key responsibilities included: - Responsible for the creation of operational process, procedures, tools and technologies in support of Bluespring’s enterprise BSS/OSS product suite within its SaaS offering. Responsible for directing and managing the product development inclusive of Architecture, Product Development, Documentation, Quality Assurance, Configuration Management and Release Management organizations. - Technical and functional product architect and visionary for internal and external audiences – including investors, analysts, venture capitalists, business development, prospects, and channel partners. - One of four members of the executive management team working to secure round C funding including creation of the private placement memorandum, and subsequent road show in conjunction with Legg Mason. - Designed, managed development and delivered the initial release of the Priority CS, Bluespring’s enterprise BSS/OSS application suite.
