- Visit domestic and international fashion markets to familiarize with new trends, colors, silhouettes, and styling ideas - Develop digital color and concept boards for seasonal collections following the latest fashion trends - Provide art direction to graphics team to develop prints with customers’ brand aesthetics in mind - Create design capsules for seasonal categories - Create detailed tech packs for garment construction - Correspond daily with overseas factories to follow up with garment construction progress, development of strike offs, lab dips, trims, and salesman samples - Attend buyers’ meetings with VP of Sales to present seasonal lines to retail buyers - Attend fittings with technical designer to ensure fit adheres to industry standards - Partner with production team to ensure garments pass all standardized testing requirements as well as meeting cost brackets

- Visit local, domestic and international fashion markets for inspiration and trend research in order to develop the latest garment silhouettes and key colors for each season - Create concept boards for latest trims - Develop CAD designs following latest trends/colors/trims/prints and ensure all components are on par with brand aesthetics - Correspond daily with overseas factories to develop lab dips, strike offs, source new fabrication, trims and follow up on garment sample due dates - Oversees design progress and guides graphics team to adhere to trend and color aesthetics - Attend fittings with technical designer to ensure all garments meet fit and safety standards - Attend buyer presentations with Vice President of sales to present new products - Partner with production team to ensure garments pass standard testing requirements as well as meeting cost brackets

- Corresponded daily with overseas factories including sending sample requests, requesting status updates on samples and strike-offs to ensure all are completed within deadline. - Tracked and provide comments for incoming samples, fabric yardage and strike-offs. - Created CAD boards for each seasonal delivery and ensured all are up to date. - Created tech packs for each style and ensured all revisions are up to date. - Shopped local markets for relevant trims and fabrics. - Partnered with production team to ensure all seasonal deliveries are proceeding as expected and within the delivery deadlines.

Assisted shelter staff with various tasks such as taking shelter dogs on leash walks, replenishing food and water supplies, sanitizing cages, and guiding potential adopters through the adoption process.
