At the end of 2014, brilliant researchers from Saint Etienne University called me to help them to transfer their research work to a start-up. But they hadn’t considered what was going to happen.... I discovered an amazing technology that could make a femtosecond laser ultra-fast. I then imagined a new machine that could revolutionize cataract surgery and replace phacoemulsification. I invented PHOTOEMULSIFICATION. Then I introduced into this machine many ideas I had, such as an integrated irrigation/aspiration module, then a robot arm and made this machine mobile. In 2015 I wrote a very detailed business plan that immediately interested investors who already knew me (Eyetechcare). End of 2015 I obtained a beautiful POC with resarchers.
