Each Joint Venture created a B2B infrastructure linked to GXS' global network, creating a major MENA B2B backbone. Major Achievements: • Empathically adhered to GE's Integrity and business practices rules allowing no violations under very complex legal and tax environments. • Developed and executed a distribution strategy for GXS' products and services in the MENA. • Led the creation of five Joint Ventures with GE covering Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Lebanon Jordan, Morocco and Egypt to provide B2B services in the respective countries. $30 Million were invested in these JVs with 75 IT professionals and potentially adding 5000 Trading Partners to GEIS' global Trading Partner community.
