Lantern is an 800-employee PE-backed Specialty Care network (valued at over $1B) covering surgeries, cancer, and infusion while significantly reducing healthcare costs. Defined and executed a full-scale transformation of Lantern’s Technology strategy, organization (110+ team members) and platform. Reporting directly to the CEO, while improving delivery, reducing costs, and maintaining budget discipline during a period of significant change, while supporting 40% YoY growth. • Rebuilt and scaled the Technology team by nearly 50 hires across the US and Canada within the first year, while transitioning from an offshore to a high-caliber local team. • Modernized platform, increased release cadence, led Salesforce Health Cloud implementation • Led company-wide AI adoption (50%+ tool adoption; 20% of code AI-assisted), including piloting AI and LLM driven claims pricing. • Reduced annual vendor spend by $500K+ and consistently operated within budget through proactive headcount and spend management without compromising delivery or talent quality.

Accolade is a publicly traded, 2,500-employee health advocacy services and technology company. Led engineering for Accolade’s Virtual Primary Care (VPC) business and Member Experience across all product lines within a publicly traded healthcare platform, supporting Fortune 500 employers, health plans, and mid-market customers while supporting its rapid revenue growth from $170M to $446M. • Drove continued 40%+ year-over-year growth of the Virtual Primary Care business post-acquisition, surpassing $100M in direct-to-consumer revenue. • Scaled and led an 80-person distributed engineering organization across four major hubs (San Francisco, Vancouver, Seattle, Prague) and strengthened leadership depth and delivery predictability by moving to continuous delivery (CI/CD). • Led developer experience (DX) function and rolled out AI-assisted coding tools, code review, and a AI-powered measurement platform. Utilized AI and LLMs to programmatically process received faxes for lab results and orders. • Successfully led the full post-merger integration of PlushCare into Accolade, consolidating teams, platforms, and operating models without disruption and retaining 100% of key engineering talent during integration.

Joined as first executive responsible for Engineering, InfoSec/Compliance, and Cloud Infrastructure/Tooling to build and scale nationwide top direct-to-consumer (D2C) and enterprise virtual primary care and therapy platform reporting directly to the CEO and Board serving over 200k patients with a 90+ NPS score leading to successful acquisition by Accolade for $450M. • Supported revenue growth from $5M to $125M, with 50% margins and positive EBITDA. • Grew team from 4 to about 40 people across 2 main locations. Established Vancouver, BC as second engineering hub besides San Francisco. • Led full rebuild of mobile experience, achieving 4.9 App Store ratings (139k ratings) and Apple/Google feature recognition. • Applied AI throughout the booking process and insurance claim process to improve conversion, average order value, and margin. • Introduced agile development process, scalable infrastructure with zero downtime deployment, and scaled platform from hundreds of appointments per month to tens of thousands.

Joined Jiff as an early engineering leader (≈15 employees) and scaled the organization and digital health platform through rapid growth to acquisition by Castlight Health in 2017 for $135M. Continued to lead and expand the combined mobile and engagement platforms post-acquisition. • Helped Jiff’s growth from $0 to $50M and Castlight’s to $150M ARR and over 240 enterprise customers. • Built and scaled distributed engineering teams (U.S. and India, ~30 engineers) across mobile and web platforms supporting Castlight, Anthem Engage, and Jiff applications. • Drove platform growth to ~50K daily active users, ~400K monthly active users, and 20M covered lives across 80+ Fortune 500 enterprise customers.

Built and launched CaloryGuard as a personal side project and passion product — one of the earliest mobile health apps on iOS and Android — reaching 1M+ paid downloads and achieving market leadership in German-speaking countries. Personally led architecture, development, and monetization from inception through sustained profitability.

Planned and coordinated all engineering activities within the interdisciplinary software development teams in the U.S. and in Germany involved in the creation of medical imaging software products (breast cancer detection and diagnosis through CT and MR imaging) including the acquisition and integration of a Lung cancer CAD solution, using neuronal network and early AI. Assisted in gaining FDA 510(k) clearance as medical product.
