Chair of the SME panel working group on the Supplier Diversity workstream and it's implementation throughout UK central government departments. Key objective is to identify and increase spend with diverse suppliers in the the supply chain. Advising government on policy and engagement with small and medium sized businesses. Identifying the barriers for diverse SME's in selling to government and finding ways to remove challenges. Key focus on policy creation, benchmarking, education, data and behaviour. By increasing spend with diverse suppliers means achieving governments overall objective of increasing spend with SME Businesses.
